The doctors and nurses at Caduceus and Hope Hospital thought the fight was over. They thought they had finally vanquished Delphi and GUILT, and that they had swept clean the earth of last traces of both those terrible things. They had thought everything was done, that they had finally won.
Delphi has begun to rebuild itself, for a third time. Only this time, they have come more prepared than the last two; they work in secret, and have been festering in their secret places for years. They have begun to come back in numbers that the past Delphi organizations could not have even dreamed of. They are rapidly growing, rapidly gaining intelligence-- some of them even work in the hospitals.
The Sinners are still there, too. When the doctors and nurses thought they had saved them all, they were wrong about that, too. These poor children, who have been infected with GUILT diseases and mutated strands of already-been-made diseases are wandering, either kept within the secret circle of Delphi or tossed aside because they can no longer be used. And now that Delphi has infested the hospitals, who can anyone trust? Despite all of these problems, there are the usual dramas-- love, hate, jealousy, friendships, all of the complications that come with real life.
And come with the danger of disease.
