...What Do You See In The Mirror And Believe..
Appearance:
Some would say that Violette is beautiful, some would say strange in an exotic way, but never has someone called the Desmarais-Dupont girl average. Not becase she is a baroness, and can easily ruin their life, but because it is simply illogical and unethical to call her average or normal. If Violette were normal, then the world would be bland, and then where would we all be? She has long, straight platinum blonde hair that is either completely straight or has a slight ruffle to it, depending on the humidity and weather of where she's at. She refuses to wear her hair up in beaded and jewled clips, instead leaving it down, and loose, and though this was frowned upon for a while, the people of her land had grown accustomed to it. Her eyes are perhaps one of the strangest things about her-- they are blue, but almost violet, too; they shift colors, and their true color is really unknown. On one day, a person may look at Violette and say, "My, what lovely blue eyes she has!" and the person next to them may think, "Blue eyes? But I saw lavender!" or something of the sorts. This may be because Violette is a daemon, and may appear to people as what they find attractive in a person, if only to a certain degree. Her height may be the only "average" thing about her, though; she is the usual height for a young woman her age, at least for where she was born and her genes, and she is slender and willowy in a very elegant sort of way, and she moves with the gentle blithe movements of a prowling jungle cat. She dresses in a way that is liberating to her; while her father prefers dresses that are long and flowing and fit her bodice snugly (to the point where it is hard to breathe, some might say,) Violette prefers dresses that come to her knees, and fit nicely but comfortably around her, and she can move freely within them.
Personality:
There are several aspects to Violette's personality, but first we will cover the most obvious parts. The first thing you will always notice about Violette Desmarais-Dupont is that she is a woman that loves her freedom and liberty. She is the type of person to stand in the middle of a field in the midst of a raging storm, lifting her face to the sky and open her arms in a sort of way to embrace it; and she will let the wind tangle her hair, and when she returns home wet and dripping and bedraggled looking, with rosey cheeks and eyes bright with excitement, she will get a scolding she will soon forget in just a few moments of being dry. Violette prefers the wonderful liberties that, in her world, only a man has; and because of her stature, she dares to step over that line and force her way into a man's world, and she won't take no for an answer. This leads us to the next aspect of her personality-- in conversation and actions, Violette is abrasive. Whether this is good or bad cannot be decided, because without this part of her, she probably would not be where she was today. In conversation, she dominates. She refuses to let the conversation die or become boring, and will quickly liven it up with wit and charm. Though charm is not a usual part of her demeanor, many would be surprised to find that she can easily worm her way into your heart.
Violette is also childish. When she doesn't get what she wants, she will swiftly formulate a plan to talk you into it, and if that doesn't work, she'll resort to telling you flat out that if she doesn't get it, she'll make sure that the rest of your life is spent in suffering, with no promise or salvation of death. This is the side of Violette that most people do not find charming or wonderful; the assertive, ambitious, childish and immature side that can quickly become cruel and malicious if provoked for two long. She hates people who are too much or too little like her, because then there is too many Violettes, or someone who is too stupid to actually catch her attention. Violette has a short attention span, one that also reminds one of a child, and can easily get bored with someone and be out of sight before they could blink. She hates being constricted or confined in a single place, especially when her father absolutely forbids her from doing something, and when that happens she'll do as she's told. Overall, Vi has a whirlwind persona, one that's hard to understand and comprehend, and there are still parts of her that remain a mystery to her family to this day.

...A Touch Of The Past..
History:
When Jacqueline Dupont informed her husband that she was pregnant, the Dupont household was overjoyed, and especially the father, Lucian. Preparations began for the baby; and when she was born, everyone was even more pleased, for the girl had been born beautiful and into a family that already had a male heir, so they might make some money off of her dowry once she was old enough to wed. There were some complications to this, however.
It was not common, but almost common, knowledge that Jacqueline had been a mistress to baron Adrian Desmarais-- and it was perfectly clear that the baby girl, whom was named Violette Elise, did not in fact look like her supposed father, but instead looked like the baron himself, with her pale hair and complexion, and the eyes of her mother. Lucian Dupont refused to acknowledge this and loved the baby as if she were really his own; and when Violette turned thirteen, her true father, Adrian, came and whisked her away to his home, where she soon became the young baroness Violette Desmarais-Dupont. By this time, Violette had flourished into a young, blossoming woman; and people began to search for her hand in marriage. However, the young baroness refused to allow her father to marry her away, and though he felt reluctant to do so, he turned every man down. And every man that got shot down had absolutely nothing on the very last man to be rejected; because that man was clearly unstable, and late at night, murdered Violette at the blooming age of twenty, and killed her so violently that her bitter spirit manifested back into a woman, one that was tangible but was dead. Most daemons are vengeful; but Violette simply wishes to keep living her life. Her father allowed the title to be returned to her, and she eventually clawed her way to the top as diplomat, despite her bloodlines. And now here she is, as wonderful as ever.
